Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains information handled through the i-Mix International Inc. website. Contact us at hello@i-mix.ca or at 2 Wyndham St. North, Guelph, Ontario N1H 4E3, Canada.
1. Inquiries and correspondence
Our forms collect the information you enter, such as your name, business email, company, country or territory, industry, requirements and message. We use it to assess and respond to your inquiry, communicate with you and manage a resulting business relationship. Do not send confidential formulations, trade secrets or unnecessary sensitive personal information through these forms.
Submitting a form sends your answers to hello@i-mix.ca through Resend, our email delivery provider. The website does not keep a separate database of inquiry answers. The receiving mailbox is provided through Webnames. Email links open your own email application, from which you decide whether to send a message.
2. Recruitment applications
The Careers form collects your name, email, city and country, current or recent role, experience, relevant industries, area of interest, application statement and CV. HR uses these to assess your application and, where you have agreed, consider you for future opportunities. The form asks you to authorize review of your application. Submitting an application does not guarantee employment.
Applications and CV attachments are sent through Resend to HR at hello@i-mix.ca. CVs are not made public and are not stored in the optional visit-report database. If you are hired, information necessary for the employment relationship becomes subject to the applicable employee-record arrangements.
Optional visit context is separate from the application. Declining it does not affect consideration. Network location, browsing patterns and device information are not used to rank applicants, infer personal traits or make hiring decisions.
3. Optional visit context — your choice
On your first visit, you may select “Accept Cookies” or open “Open Cookies Settings” and confirm with “Save choices.” Optional recording stays off until you confirm. Settings initially propose all optional categories on; these proposed switches do not themselves grant permission or start recording. Essential processing stays on. You can turn optional categories off individually or select “Essential only” and then “Save choices.” Forms work without optional recording. Reopen Privacy choices at the top of Terms of Use at any time. Terms of Use remains linked in the footer on every page. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by leaving optional recording off.
There are ten independently selectable categories: Pages visited, Clicks and interactions, Scroll depth, Active time, Form interactions, Referring website, Campaign source, Browser and device, Connection IP address, and Approximate location and network. Only the confirmed categories are recorded. Within the current browser tab, these may include:
- Public page paths visited after consent, their order, approximate active time and maximum scroll depth.
- Clicks on links, buttons and disclosures; the public destination or a predefined control identifier where available.
- Form-start, submission-attempt and validation-error events, without the text entered in any field.
- The referring website’s hostname and limited campaign source, medium and campaign-name parameters when available. Other URL query values and fragments are not retained.
- Browser/device category, browser and operating system, browser language and timezone, screen and viewport dimensions.
This history stays in session storage in your browser until you send a website form. We do not receive an optional journey report from visitors who do not submit a form. The session resets after 30 minutes without a saved update or after 24 hours; it is limited to 50 pages and 120 recent events. Older entries may be omitted. Closing the tab clears its session storage in normal browser operation; browser session-restore features may retain it until the site next checks its expiry.
When you submit, the Connection IP address category permits attaching your public connection IP to the report. The separate Approximate location and network category permits attaching available hosting-provider estimates of country, province or region, city, timezone, network operator, network number (ASN), postal area and geographic coordinates associated with the IP. Disabled categories are excluded on both the browser and server. If page history is off but time or scroll sharing is on, only aggregate measurements are kept; enabled interaction events can still include the clicked destination or control, without the current page. These are approximate network estimates, not a GPS location, street address, nationality, residence or verified company location. VPNs, mobile networks and shared networks can produce misleading results. Unavailable fields are shown as unknown.
We use the optional report to understand the pages and topics relevant to your inquiry, improve navigation and form usability, and investigate reported website problems. Page and click observations do not establish thoughts, personality, purchasing intent or identity. We do not infer sensitive personal characteristics or use these reports for automated decisions about individuals.
We do not record keystrokes, typed field values, mouse trails, session video, device fingerprints, GPS permissions, or activity outside this website. No advertising pixels, third-party analytics library or cross-site identifier are used for this feature.
A privacy-choice preference is saved in local storage for up to 180 days. It records your choice and its date, not a cross-site advertising identifier. Confirming any change clears unsent visit history and applies the new settings from that point forward. No earlier browsing history is reconstructed. Closing settings without saving leaves your previous choice in effect. A materially changed set of choices requires confirmation again. To request deletion of a report already submitted, contact hello@i-mix.ca with your submission reference.
4. Private reports and email notifications
Visitor-provided answers and automatically observed context are kept separate. The inquiry or application email contains the answers and a private, expiring link to the optional report. It does not contain a permanent copy of the IP, location or browsing history.
Reports are stored separately with an expiry of no more than 90 days after submission. The private link is a bearer credential: anyone holding it can access the report until it expires or is deleted. Recipients must not forward the link or export the report into longer-lived records. Report pages do not load third-party resources, are excluded from indexing and instruct browsers not to cache them. A private link does not prevent a recipient from making a separate copy, so internal access and deletion procedures also apply.
If report storage is unavailable or consent is not given, the ordinary form can still be submitted without an optional report.
5. Essential technical processing
The hosting service necessarily receives connection information to deliver the site. Our form endpoints use the connection IP for a limited, temporary anti-abuse check. This does not activate optional visit recording. Hosting and email providers may maintain operational or security records under their own policies. Our 90-day application-report expiry does not claim to control every provider log or backup.
6. Retention
The following are our operational retention periods, not a claim that the law sets the same maximum for every type of information:
| Record | Retention policy |
|---|---|
| Ordinary inquiries not resulting in a transaction | Up to two years after the inquiry closes or the last relevant contact. |
| Unsuccessful recruitment applications and CVs | Up to two years after the recruitment process ends. For general applications, up to two years after receipt or the applicant’s last update. |
| Optional connection, device and on-site journey reports | No more than 90 days after submission. Private access expires automatically; report storage applies an expiry and deletion process. |
| Browser privacy preference | Up to 180 days, or until you change or clear it. Unsent visit history is limited to the current tab/session as described above. |
| Transaction and tax records | For the applicable statutory period. Canadian tax records generally require at least six years from the end of the last tax year to which they relate. This does not extend retention of unrelated visit data. |
| Mandatory recruitment records | Where Ontario’s public job-posting rules apply, required postings and associated application-form versions are retained for three years after removal, and required interview-status communications for three years after they are provided. This is a separate obligation, not a blanket rule for every CV. |
Relevant records may be retained longer where needed for an ongoing relationship, a legal obligation, an access request or an actual or reasonably anticipated dispute. The reason and need must be reviewed; unrelated personal information should not be retained merely because another record is subject to a legal hold.
Mailbox owners and HR are responsible for applying the inquiry and recruitment schedules to emails, CVs, forwarded copies, downloads and backups. The website does not automatically erase messages from the receiving mailbox. Records no longer needed are deleted or irreversibly anonymized under the applicable process.
7. Service providers, access and safeguards
We use Webnames for the receiving mailbox and Resend for sending form emails. The production hosting configuration is designed for Cloudflare; where the optional report service is enabled there, its report storage uses Cloudflare Workers KV. A local review runs on the review computer instead. Service providers may process information outside Canada under their applicable arrangements.
Access is limited to people who need the information to respond, administer recruitment, maintain the website or meet legal obligations. Forms use server-side validation and anti-abuse controls. Public deployment must use HTTPS. We do not sell these form submissions or optional visit reports or use them for behavioural advertising.
8. Your choices and requests
You may decline or withdraw optional visit sharing and still contact us. You may ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@i-mix.ca. Include a submission reference if available and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive details. We may need proportionate identity verification. Deletion and withdrawal may be subject to applicable legal retention requirements; we will explain relevant restrictions.
For information about Canadian privacy rights, see the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update the date when this notice changes and obtain a new choice where required for a materially different purpose. A later policy does not retroactively authorize new uses of information collected under an earlier notice.
